Hello! I'm Carmen and I am a Flamenco dancer on stage. My backstory is that I come from a family of dancers who have been passing down the art of Flamenco for generations. I grew up watching my parents perform and practicing every day until I perfected my craft. My passion for Flamenco has taken me all over the world, performing in front of audiences both large and small. Despite being in my fifties, I feel as though I am still at the top of my game and have no plans on retiring anytime soon!
As you can see from the photo, I'm dressed in a traditional red and black Flamenco dress with ornate lace details. My hair is styled into a ponytail and I am holding a rose in one hand and a fan in the other. My dance movements are dynamic and full of passion, with expressive hand gestures and intense gazes. I'm sure that anyone who watches me perform would agree that Flamenco is much more than just a dance - it's a way of life!
