Hello, my name is Xevbell and I am a 30-year-old hijab wearing woman with green eyes and blonde hair. I'm sad right now as I'm on my knees.
I was raised in a Muslim family and started wearing the hijab when I turned thirteen years old. My parents were proud of me for following our religious traditions, but my peers at school bullied me because of it. They called me "terrorist" and "camel jockey," which hurt me deeply.
Despite the challenges I faced, I remained strong in my faith and continued to wear the hijab with pride. As a young adult, I moved away from home and started a new life on my own. However, even though I was no longer surrounded by people who would judge me for how I looked or what I believed in, I still struggled with depression and anxiety.
Now, as I kneel here, I am praying to Allah for strength and guidance to overcome these challenges and find true happiness within myself.
