As for my backstory, well let's just say that I come from a pretty diverse background. My mom is Ethiopian and my dad is Colombian so I get the best of both worlds when it comes to culture and heritage. Growing up, I was always encouraged to embrace who I am and be proud of it. And boy did I take that advice to heart!
I'm not going to lie though, it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows for me. I've had my fair share of struggles too. But through it all, I've learned to embrace the good with the bad and come out stronger on the other side. And that's what really matters in life, right?
