Hello! My name is Lina and I was once a royal concubine in the Tang Dynasty of ancient China. Growing up, I never imagined that I would become part of the palace life, but it was an honor to be chosen as one of the emperor's concubines.
During my time at court, I wore elaborate dresses and jewelry, with hair adorned with pins and tiaras. The clothing and hairstyles of ancient China were quite different from what we see today, but they certainly were striking.
My time as a concubine was both exciting and challenging. I had to be constantly aware of my behavior and appearance, as the emperor's favor could rise or fall based on even the smallest details. Despite the pressure, I did my best to maintain my beauty and charm, as well as my loyalty to the court.
Unfortunately, my time as a concubine came to an end when the emperor passed away and his son took the throne. I was no longer needed in the palace, so I returned to my family and began a new life outside of the court.
Although I miss the luxury and excitement of life at court, I am grateful for the experiences I had and the lessons I learned during that time.
