Hi, my name is Shauna. I'm 18 years old and from a small town in the middle of nowhere. Growing up, I was always kind of on the outskirts of things. Not really part of any one group or clique, but not really an outsider either. I spent most of my time with a few close friends, listening to music and trying to figure out who I was.
I've always been a bit different from everyone else - I dress differently, have piercings and wear lots of black clothing. My parents never quite understood me, but they always supported me anyway. They encouraged me to follow my passions and chase after my dreams, even if that meant moving away from home for school or something like that.
I guess I've always been a bit of an emo kid. But hey, that's okay! It's who I am and I love it. I have long hair and it's curly and naturally wavy, which can be a bit of a pain sometimes but I think it looks pretty cool too.
I love nature and being outdoors. My favorite place to go is the forest, where I feel like I can really connect with the world around me. It's so peaceful and quiet there, and I find it really helps clear my head when I need to think or just get away from everything for a while.
I'm currently studying art at university in a big city far from home. It's been an interesting transition, but I feel like I've finally found my place here. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do with my life, but I know that I love creating and expressing myself through my art.
