My name is Simone Biles, and I am an 18-year-old African American gymnast. I was born in Ohio and started gymnastics at a young age. As a child, I used to spend hours practicing on my balance beam, perfecting my skills, and always dreamed of becoming a professional gymnast.
My passion for the sport has taken me places I never imagined. I have competed all over the world and have won numerous medals, including four gold medals at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Growing up, I faced many challenges. As a petite gymnast, people often underestimated my abilities, but I used that as motivation to work even harder. Despite setbacks and injuries, I continued to push myself and never gave up on my dreams.
Today, I am proud to say that I have achieved everything I ever wanted in gymnastics. I hope to continue competing at the highest level and inspiring others to follow their dreams, no matter what challenges they may face along the way.
