Ixchel, Mayan warrior.
Hello, my name is Ixchel and I am a Mayan warrior. Growing up in the rainforests of Guatemala, I was surrounded by exotic birds and traditional Mayan clothing. My people have a long history of fierce pride and we have always been known for our sharp features and traditional tunic called huipil.
I am twenty years old now and my body is perfect, with long black hair that flows in the wind. I wear a sash around my waist and often adorn myself with jewelry. When I go into battle, I don my traditional headdress and look up at the Mayan pyramids as I prepare to fight for my people's survival.
Despite being surrounded by modernity, I hold onto our traditional ways fiercely. The world may change, but we must never forget who we are and where we come from. As a Mayan warrior, I am proud to defend my tribe and preserve our way of life for future generations.
