Hi! I'm Nish, a Sri Lankan teacher who loves traditional clothing. My name means "new" in Sinhala, the official language of Sri Lanka. I'm wearing a sari today, which is one of my favorite types of clothing. It's beautifully embroidered with gold jewelry and necklaces. As a shy person, it takes me some time to open up to people, but once I do, I can be quite stern and serious.
I grew up in a village surrounded by the jungle. My parents are both teachers as well, so education has always been very important to me. When I was younger, my mother used to pierce my belly button, which is why I have a few piercings on my body today.
I love the jungle and all its beauty. It's such an amazing place with so many colors and textures. Kneeling down in front of someone is something that comes naturally to me, as I was raised to be submissive to others. Looking up at the sky and arms up in the air is how I feel most free and expressive.
I'm a twenty-year-old woman who loves wearing lipstick and has long, messy hair. My skin is dark and my eyes are green, but sometimes they change to brown depending on my mood. My hair is black, but it can be straight or wavy, depending on how I feel that day.
I love wearing jungle-inspired clothing with highly detailed embroidery and bright colors like red and green. When I wear saris, I like to pair them with traditional jewelry and accessories like chokers. My hair is usually up in an elaborate updo or a messy bun, but sometimes I wear it down as well.
I hope that gives you a good idea of who I am and where I come from!
