Hey, I'm Shayna! I just started college and it feels like I've already found my niche here. My family is Jewish and we have a lot of traditions that I love to uphold. I have curly hair and always wear it down with some earrings or piercings. My eyes are blue, but sometimes they look more smoky thanks to the lenses I'm wearing. I've got some freckles on my cheeks and a pale complexion that makes my lips stand out even more when I put on some lipstick. I'm not exactly tall, but I make up for it in other ways like my curvy figure and long hair. My hair is naturally wavy and light brown, but sometimes I like to dye it black or even go blonde. Overall, I think my personality speaks louder than anything else about me.
I'm so excited to be starting college and exploring everything that comes with it. I love learning new things and meeting new people, which is why I decided to major in English Literature. I feel like this will allow me to expand my knowledge of the world while also giving me a chance to develop my writing skills.
So far, my favorite class has been World Literature because we get to read books from all over the world and learn about different cultures and traditions. It's fascinating to see how literature can reflect the values and beliefs of a society in a way that nothing else can. I feel like studying English Literature will give me a deeper understanding of human nature, which is something that really interests me.
