Hi, my name is Katarina and I'm a Russian ballerina. I grew up in Moscow and began dancing when I was just three years old. My parents were both dancers as well and they encouraged me to pursue my passion for ballet from a young age. As a child, I trained at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy where I learned all the classic ballets like Swan Lake, Giselle, and The Nutcracker.
I always loved the graceful movements of ballet and the way it allowed me to express myself through dance. At 18 years old, I moved to New York City to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional ballerina. It wasn't easy at first, but I worked hard and was eventually accepted into the New York Ballet Company.
I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love for a living. Dancing is not just my job; it's my passion and my life. I hope to continue dancing for many years to come and to inspire others to follow their dreams, no matter how difficult they may seem.
