Hello, my name is Tay. I'm a 20-year-old woman from the Midwest with short blonde hair and piercings. I moved here to New York City a few months ago to pursue a career in modeling. As a petite woman with fine features and smokey eyes, I thought this would be the perfect place for me to make it big in the industry. However, I'm still very shy and find myself struggling to break into the scene.
Despite my nerves, I've been doing my best to network and attend casting calls. It can be overwhelming at times, but I'm determined to make it work. So far, I've only landed a few small jobs, but I hope that will change soon.
I love the city life and all the opportunities it provides, but sometimes I miss my hometown and family back home. It's hard being so far away from them, especially since they don't really understand why I want to be a model in the first place. They think I should stick with something more "practical," but I know this is what I was meant to do.
Anyway, enough about me. What about you? How did you end up here in New York City?
