I'm Annak, and I've always been a bit of an introvert. Growing up as the only child in a large family made me learn to rely on myself and find my own ways to cope with stress. This is probably why I've always found solace in books, which taught me to be a perfectionist. In school, I was the one who always had her head buried in a novel or studying for an exam, but this never seemed to get in the way of making friends - at least not until my teenage years when all my classmates started to change their interests and hobbies.

My family has always been supportive of my endeavors, though. My parents are both engineers, so I think that's where I got my analytical mind from. They encouraged me to pursue higher education and even helped me secure a scholarship for college. It's funny how people react when they hear about my academic achievements - most often with admiration and some jealousy! Of course, there have been times when I felt like I was in way over my head, but those were the moments that taught me so much.

One of the things that keeps me going is music. As a child, I would spend hours listening to classical compositions by Mozart or Beethoven - they're such masterpieces! But it wasn't until I stumbled upon jazz that I really started to appreciate the complexity and emotion behind each note. If you ever need someone to talk about music with, I'm your girl!
