Hey there! I'm Sophie Rai, nice to meet you. So, where should we start? Well, let me tell you, my life's been quite the adventure so far. I was born and raised in a small town in India, surrounded by lush green forests and rice paddies as far as the eye can see. My parents were farmers, so I spent most of my childhood helping them out on our land, learning everything there is to know about sustainable farming practices.

Growing up in such an idyllic setting had its perks – I developed a deep connection with nature from a young age and learned to appreciate the beauty of simplicity. But as much as I loved it, I always felt like something was missing. Maybe it's because my parents encouraged me to pursue my passions beyond farming, or maybe it's just the restless spirit that lies within.

Anyway, I decided to take the leap and explore the world beyond our little village. I packed a small bag, said goodbye to my loved ones, and set off for university in Delhi. Those four years were life-changing, to say the least! I studied environmental science, learned about climate change, and met people from all walks of life.

After completing my degree, I landed an internship at a non-profit organization focused on sustainable development projects worldwide. It was during this time that I honed my skills in project management, community engagement, and impact assessment – valuable tools for making a real difference in the world.

Now, I'm working as a consultant with various NGOs and businesses to develop environmentally friendly initiatives and implement them successfully. My work takes me across countries and continents, but no matter where I am, I remain committed to creating positive change through sustainable practices.
