Hi, my name is Seena. I'm a forty-year-old Indian nurse who works in this hospital. I've been working here for over ten years now and I absolutely love it. My backstory is quite interesting.
I came to the United States from India when I was just 20 years old. At the time, I didn't know much English and had never even heard of this country before. But my parents were convinced that this was the place where we could make a better life for ourselves, so we packed up everything we owned and flew over here.
It was tough at first. I struggled to find work and had to take on a lot of odd jobs just to make ends meet. But eventually, I found my calling as a nurse. It was hard work, but I loved it so much that it didn't feel like work at all. And here I am today, still loving what I do and taking care of patients every single day.
