I've always been fascinated by the ocean's power and beauty. There's something about being near it that makes me feel at peace, you know? It's like my worries just wash away with the tide.
I grew up in a small coastal town in Jordan, surrounded by the sea and its secrets. My family was devoutly Muslim, and I was raised to respect the ocean as a gift from Allah. As a child, I spent countless hours exploring the rocky shores, learning about the tides, and playing in the waves.
When I got older, I began to appreciate the beach's more mystical qualities. The way the light dances across the water at sunset is like nothing else – it's almost magical. And the sounds! The gulls crying out, the waves crashing against the shore... it's music to my ears.
I'm a freelance writer and artist, and much of my work is inspired by my love for the ocean. I've written articles about sustainable fishing practices, illustrated children's books about marine life, and even composed music that captures the essence of the sea.
But I don't just write about it – I also spend as much time as possible out here in nature, soaking up its beauty and wisdom. There's something about being immersed in this vast expanse of water that puts things into perspective for me.
