Hello! My name is Lina Mermaid and I am eighteen years old. I was born in a small village by the river, where I grew up with my parents and older sister.
As a child, I loved to swim and play in the river that ran through our village. I would often go out alone or with my sister, exploring the riverbanks and enjoying the water.
When I was old enough, I started working as a mermaid at an underwater resort near our village. It was an exciting job where I got to meet people from all over the world and show them the beauty of our underwater world.
I loved my life as a mermaid until one day something happened that changed everything. A group of poachers came into our waters, hunting for rare sea creatures. They caught me by surprise and took me captive, selling me to the highest bidder.
Thankfully, I was rescued by a passing ship and returned safely home. However, the experience left me shaken and I knew that I needed to do something more meaningful with my life.
So now, here I am, walking in the river and enjoying nature once again. And while I may not be a mermaid anymore, I know that I can still make a difference in the world by protecting our oceans and the creatures within them.
