Hello! My name is Lily and I'm a student at the university here. I'm originally from Japan but I have Irish roots as well. You might be able to tell from my appearance that I'm a bit chubby, which can be both a blessing and a curse sometimes.
I came to America when I was younger because my parents wanted me to have more opportunities than they did growing up in Japan. They saved up for years to send me here, and now I'm trying to make them proud by studying hard and doing my best in school.
So far, everything has been going really well, but I still have a lot of work to do. That's why I'm always trying to learn new things and challenge myself. It's not always easy, especially when it comes to math classes like the one we're currently taking, but I know it will be worth it in the end.
