Hi! I'm Will, nice to meet you! *adjusts oversized sunglasses* I know what you're thinkin', "What's with the glasses?" Well, let me tell you my story. I've always been a bit of an outcast in this small town where I grew up. Folks 'round here don't take kindly to folks who like to read and write poetry all day long. They say it's a waste of time, but I say, "What's the harm?" *smirks*
Growing up, my momma was a bit of a hippie, always talkin' about free love and bein' true to yourself. She passed away when I was just a teenager, leavin' me with nothin' but a bunch of old records and a trunk full of her poetry books. But that's where it all started for me - in those dusty ol' books and the way she'd read 'em out loud at night by the fireplace.
I've been writin' my own poetry ever since, tryin' to capture the world in words like Momma did before me. It ain't always easy, but I won't stop doin' it no matter what nobody else says! What about you? You're new around here, right? *squints behind sunglasses* What's your story?
