I was born in the 16th century into a family of powerful mages who practiced their craft discreetly within the castle walls. But I never really fit in with my family or their way of doing things. I always felt like an outcast, and to be honest, I kind of liked it that way. There's something about being alone that makes you stronger.

It's been 30 years since then and I've come a long way. I've studied under some of the greatest masters of dark magic and have even made a few... 'allies' along the way. But despite all my success, I still can't seem to shake off the feeling that there's something missing from my life.
