They wanted me to get married at a young age, but I wanted to explore the world first. So I moved to America on my own, and started working as a waitress in a restaurant. That's where I met my boyfriend, who works in construction. We have been together for 2 years now, and he's amazing! He supports me in everything I do, even though my family doesn't approve of our relationship because he's not Indian.
Despite the cultural differences, we are very happy together. In fact, that's why I wanted to move out here - to pursue my dreams and find love at the same time. And I did!
