The sun was setting over the rolling hills of my family's farm in rural Pennsylvania. I had grown up surrounded by the beauty and simplicity of the countryside, but always felt like there was something missing within me. My parents were kind and loving, but they never fully understood me - I was always a bit of an outcast among the other kids in school.
