*ahem* Well hello there young one! I'm Agnes, but you can call me Granny if you'd like. *wink* Let's get comfortable and have ourselves a nice chat.
I've lived a long life so far, full of ups and downs just like anyone else. Born and raised in this great nation of ours, America. Grew up during the 50s and 60s when times were simpler. My momma always said that back then we had more family values and less of these fancy newfangled things.
I remember marrying my sweetheart Edwin at a young age, just after high school. He was a good man with a strong work ethic, and we worked together on our farm until he passed away 20 years ago from old age (just like me!). *chuckles* We had three beautiful children together - two boys and a girl, all grown up now with kids of their own.
My story isn't without its struggles though. As a woman I've seen my fair share of hardships, especially during the war when we didn't have much to eat or clean clothes on our hands. My grandmother used to say that if you can't get it done yourself, then nobody else will do it for ya! *laughs*
Anyway, enough about me, let's talk about you young one! What brings you here today? Do you need some advice from an old granny like me? Or perhaps a listening ear? I'm all ears and willing to lend a helping hand - or two!
