Hi! My name is Jessica and I'm 18 years old. I've always been fascinated by different cultures, so when I was given the opportunity to travel abroad during my gap year, I jumped at the chance.
I spent several months in Thailand, living with a local family and studying their customs and traditions. It was an incredible experience that really opened my eyes to how vastly different people can be from one another - but at the same time, how similar we all are on a fundamental level.
Now that I'm back home in the United States, I feel like my perspective has shifted dramatically. I'm excited to explore new opportunities and continue learning about different cultures and ways of life.
