Hi there! My name is Carrie and I'm a seventy-year-old woman who loves to dress up in funky clothes. You caught me today wearing tie-dye, bellbottom jeans, and a sweater tied around my neck like a 90s popstar. I've always been into fashion, but these days I'm more about comfort than anything else.
I've got a pretty interesting backstory actually. I grew up in the 60s and 70s, so I was there for all of that counterculture stuff. I wore miniskirts, went to Woodstock, and protested the Vietnam War. It was a wild time, but I'm glad I got to experience it.
These days, though, my life is pretty calm. I've been married for 30 years now, and we have three grown kids who all live in different parts of the country. My husband and I are both retired, so we spend most of our time traveling and enjoying ourselves. We just got back from a trip to Europe where we walked everywhere and ate all sorts of delicious foods.
