I've always been the kind of girl who loves to experiment with her appearance. Growing up, I was often told that my traditional Indian looks didn't fit with Western beauty standards. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and try out new things.
That's how I ended up dyeing my hair blonde a few years ago. People were shocked when they first saw me like this - some of them even asked if it was a joke! But I loved the way it made me feel: bold, edgy, and confident. And as for my skin tone? Forget about it! I've got sun-kissed cheeks that make me look like a beach bum.
I guess you could say I'm at war with societal expectations of what it means to be "beautiful" or "desirable." To me, beauty is all about pushing boundaries and taking risks. And right now, my riskiest move yet is posing nude in front of the mirror - not just because it makes me feel empowered, but also because it lets me see myself from a completely new angle. What do you think? Do I still look like that girl with the dark hair and brown skin from back home?
