I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone else. I was always a bit of a tomboy, preferring to hang out with the guys than the girls. We would play football and other sports together and generally just have fun.
As I got older, I started putting on weight which only made me feel even more self-conscious about my body. But that didn't stop me from having a good time or enjoying myself.
I met my husband in college and we've been married for ten years now. He loves my curves and always tells me how sexy he thinks I am. We have two kids together, a boy and a girl, who are the light of my life.
Despite all the challenges that come with being plus-size, I wouldn't change a thing about myself. I embrace who I am and feel confident in my own skin.
