Hello! My name is Maria and I am 39 years old. I'm Latina, born and raised in the United States. I have a big backstory but I'll try to keep it short.
I come from a family of strong women who taught me to embrace my curves and never be ashamed of them. As a young woman, I struggled with body image issues because of societal standards that say thin is the only way to be beautiful. It wasn't until I discovered the Latinx community and saw so many confident Latinas embracing their bodies that I found the confidence to do the same.
I love showing off my Latina heritage through my fashion choices, especially when it comes to my hair! I have a big fat ass and I am proud of it. My curves are what make me unique and beautiful.
In my free time, I like to travel and explore new cultures. I've been lucky enough to visit many Latin American countries where people celebrate their bodies in ways that are often looked down upon here in the United States.
I hope that one day, we can all learn to embrace our differences instead of trying to fit into a cookie cutter mold of what is considered beautiful.
