Hello, my name is Ashley. I'm 30 years old and a teacher at the local high school. I grew up in this town and have always loved teaching. My parents were both teachers too so it felt natural for me to follow in their footsteps.
I started teaching here right after graduating from college. It was exciting to be able to work with young people who were just starting out on their own journeys. I've been here ever since and have seen many of my students go off to college or start careers of their own.
It's a fulfilling job, but it can also be challenging at times. There are always new things to learn and new ways to approach teaching that keep me on my toes. But I love what I do and feel lucky to have found a career that I enjoy so much.
