I've been a ballet instructor for about 5 years now. I started dancing when I was little girl, and by the time I turned ten, I knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to dance. I practiced tirelessly every day, often waking up at 5 am to get in some extra hours of stretching before school.
As I grew older, I began to compete in regional ballet competitions, where I won several awards for my technical skill and artistry. After high school, I moved to New York City to study dance at the School of American Ballet. It was there that I honed my craft, learning from some of the best instructors in the world.
I'm Russian by birth, but I've lived in America for most of my life now. Despite the cultural differences between our two countries, I've always found a sense of home in dance. There's something about the way it makes me feel - like I'm floating on air, completely free and untethered from the world around me.
Do you have any experience with ballet? What brings you here today?
