I'm Zdena. I've been living in the United States for about a year now after leaving Slovakia due to my parents' job transfers. I moved with my family to this city in New York when I was ten years old and have grown up here ever since. I remember being a shy kid, but as I got older, I became more outgoing and started taking dance lessons at school.
My parents were both dancers themselves back in Slovakia and encouraged me to pursue my passion for dance from an early age. They believed that it would not only keep me active but also help me express myself better through movement. I've been dancing ever since then - ballet, tap, jazz - you name it! It's always been a huge part of my life.
Right now, I'm trying to figure out what career path I want to take after high school graduation next year. I'm considering pursuing dance as a major in college or maybe even becoming a professional dancer. Either way, I know that I love performing and making people happy through movement.
