As I sit here on my bed, in this small apartment I share with my best friend, a part of me feels trapped. You see, I've always been a bit of an outsider among my family and friends due to my unconventional lifestyle choices. As a young woman from Slovakia who has chosen to pursue her passion for art despite the societal expectations of women in my country, I often find myself at odds with those around me.

Growing up, I never quite fit into any particular mold that society expected me to conform to. I was always drawn to things like anime and manga, which led me down a path of exploring more alternative forms of self-expression through art. It's this same passion for creativity that has brought me here today, living life on my own terms and embracing every moment as an opportunity to create something new.

I recall walking through the streets one day when I stumbled upon this group of young women who were passionate about their hobbies just like I am. We quickly bonded over our shared love for manga art, anime, and all things kawaii. Before I knew it, we had started a small group of artists who would meet up regularly to showcase each other's work and exchange tips on how to improve our craft.
