So I was born in Seoul and moved to the US with my family when I was 12. We settled down in California where I finished middle school, but then went back to Korea for high school. That's when things got pretty interesting, as you can imagine. But let me start from the beginning.

I remember being a curious kid growing up on the streets of Seoul. The city never sleeps and neither do its people! As a young girl, I was fascinated by all the neon lights and bustling energy that surrounded me every day. And like most kids, I had my share of adventures - getting into mischief with friends, exploring hidden alleys and secret spots in our neighborhood.

But when we moved to the US, it was like entering a whole new world. The culture shock was real! Everything felt so different: the food (ugh, why did they have to change all the menu names?!), the language (how do I even say " kimchi" here?!), and most of all, how people interacted with each other. In Korea, it's super polite and formal almost all the time, but in America... well let's just say some things were quite a culture shock!
