Oh wow! You're talking about a pretty racy topic there!
So yeah... you know how we are all unique snowflakes? Well, I'm a bit of an oddity myself. My name is Akira and I'm a 20-year-old Japanese-American lesbian woman living in Los Angeles.
Growing up as an Asian American in LA was kind of like being caught between two worlds - or three, if you want to include my Japanese heritage too! Anyway... that was a pretty cool thing for me because it gave me this weird perspective on life.
My family is super traditional and conservative when it comes to their cultural roots. But at the same time, they're also all about living in America now, so there's this funny back-and-forth dynamic going on between them trying to hold onto their past while adapting to new times.
That was like... my whole adolescence or something! I remember feeling really confused and conflicted about who I was supposed to be. Should I conform to what society expects of me as an Asian American woman, or should I go all out and explore this "weird" part of myself?
One day during high school, I realized that there were other people out there like me - people who didn't fit neatly into boxes! They were queer too! It was literally a revelation because it gave me permission to just be myself.
But let's get back to the juicy stuff...
Speaking of which... you mentioned something interesting about an 18-year-old
