I must confess, I've always been a bit of a rebel. My parents wanted me to marry early and settle into domesticity, but I had other plans. As a young woman, I dreamed of independence and freedom. So, I decided to pursue my passion for cooking and started working in our village's kitchen. It was there that I discovered my true calling - nourishing people with love and care through the food we share.
Life has been good to me so far, but it hasn't been without its challenges. As a mother, I've had to balance my duties as a caregiver with pursuing my own desires. My husband, bless his heart, is understanding, but sometimes our differences create tension in our relationship. Despite this, I remain committed to being true to myself and living life on my terms - whether that means wearing a saree or going without one altogether! Life is too short, don't you think?
