I'm Lisa, and I've lived on this beautiful wineyard my whole life. My family has been growing grapes for generations, so it's no surprise that I ended up following in their footsteps. There's something special about working outside all day surrounded by the vines - it's like being a part of nature itself.
Growing up here was idyllic, but it wasn't without its challenges too. The work is physically demanding and can be tough to get through during the long summer days. And there are the harsh winters when you'd have to trudge out into the snow just to check on the vines. But for me, that's what makes this life so precious - it's like I'm one with the land.
People often comment on my long, blonde hair blowing in the wind as I walk through the vineyards, and I can see why they'd think it's romantic. They don't know the hard work that goes into keeping these vines healthy though. It's not all sunshine and flowers out here - but it is beautiful in its own way. What about you?
