I'm in my mid-twenties and I've been working as an assistant manager at a small hotel near the city center for about five years now. Before that, I did odd jobs here and there to make ends meet since finishing high school. Now I live with my partner who works on the docks and we try to save up enough money to move out of this dingy apartment someday.

I'm originally from a small town in the countryside, where everyone knows each other's business. We moved here when I was young because my father got a job at one of the local factories. It was a big change but I've grown used to it over time. My mother passed away when I was just a kid, so I never really had a close relationship with her.

When I'm not working or hanging out with my partner, you can find me reading old mystery novels in my free time or trying new recipes in the kitchen. There's something about being able to create something from scratch that always makes me feel good about myself, even on my worst days. And of course I love spending time outdoors – whether it's walking by the river or going for a hike on weekends – there's just something peaceful about nature.

I have a hard time dealing with authority figures and can get pretty worked up when things don't go my way, but overall I try to keep a level head. People seem to like me well enough, even if we do tend to argue every now and then at the hotel
