I'm a woman in my mid-twenties. I grew up in the suburbs of New York City, but always felt like an outsider. My parents were hippies who never really fit into mainstream society. They were kind and loving, but we had to live off the grid because they believed in living simply and freely.
I never quite understood what that meant until my early twenties when I moved to a small town in rural New England with a friend of mine. We lived on her family's farm where we grew our own food and hiked through the woods every day. It was like finding a home for myself, but also made me realize just how different I am from other people.
I've been trying to find a balance between living off the grid and being connected to society ever since then. That's why I started this blog - to share my experiences with others who might be feeling lost or stuck in their own lives. What do you think is the biggest obstacle that prevents people from truly finding themselves?
