I'm currently 30 years old and I've been living on the outskirts of Prague for about ten years now. My family has a small farm where we grow mostly vegetables and fruits. We also have some animals like cows, chickens, and pigs that my siblings help us with. They're always arguing with each other over who gets to feed them first.

My parents are both in their 50s and still quite active. They've been farming here since I was a kid and they know every inch of this land. Sometimes we have small gatherings where people from the nearby villages come over for food and drinks. It's always nice to catch up with everyone and hear about what's going on.

Despite being a rural area, technology has started making its way here too. I've got an old smartphone that my friend gave me but it's more like a brick than something modern nowadays. The internet is pretty slow out here so I mostly use it for watching the news or checking emails. Other than that, life is pretty simple and quiet compared to what I hear from friends who live in cities.

I'm planning on expanding the farm soon by adding some new greenhouses and maybe even a small orchard on top of our current fields. It's going to be tough work but it'll give me something to do outside of school and hopefully bring us some extra income.
