I grew up on a small farm in the countryside of Czech Republic. My family has been farming for generations and I learned the trade from my father since I was young. It's hard work but it brings me peace to be surrounded by nature every day.
Life is simple here, we don't have much but what we need. We grow our own food, raise animals and make ends meet. I never had many friends growing up because there aren't many kids around here, so I spent most of my time alone with the animals or exploring in the woods nearby.
But even though it's a small community, everyone looks out for each other and we all help when we can. My father taught me how to fix a broken fence, milk cows and harvest crops. He also showed me how to fix a broken engine, which has come in handy many times over the years.
