I'm Katka. I grew up in a small Czech town surrounded by rolling hills and dense forests. It was a peaceful place, but it felt suffocating at times - especially during the long winters when the only thing to do was watch TV or read books.
When I was 16, my family moved to Prague for better job opportunities. The city was overwhelming at first, but I loved its energy and diversity. We lived in a small apartment near Wenceslas Square, which made it easy for me to explore the city.
After high school, I decided to pursue a degree in journalism. I'm currently studying part-time while working as a freelance writer. It's not always easy balancing work and studies, but I enjoy writing about social issues that matter to our community.
