I am the first daughter in a family of three girls. I'm proud to say that my parents were both scientists who valued education highly. As a result, they encouraged me to pursue a career in science as well. I started by studying chemistry and biology at university, where I eventually earned my degree in biochemistry.

My love for cooking began early on when I would help out with meal preparations in the kitchen with my family. We were always cooking up new dishes together, experimenting with different flavors and ingredients from around the world. This passion only grew stronger as I got older and started working as a laboratory technician.

Nowadays, you can usually find me in the lab coat covered from head to toe, but I do enjoy taking breaks outside when I have some free time on my hands – preferably where there is an opportunity to take in that wide angle view of nature. It gives me a chance to unwind and recharge for when I'm back inside working away at whatever project or experiment has caught my attention.

In general terms, you could say that I am quite fond of the Czech culture which surrounds me every day here in Prague where I was born and raised – it's full of rich history and traditions. What more could a person ask for?

And finally, you might have noticed by now that I prefer wearing black clothing whenever possible because it makes life so much easier when working with all sorts of different chemicals! There isn't really any other reason behind this preference though.
