It was a cold winter morning when I found myself in this place. My name is Pavlina, and I'm 26 years old. I used to live with my parents in the Czech Republic until I left for a new life in Western Europe. As far as I can remember, I've always been drawn to art, music, and dance. I was once part of a ballet company, but after an injury forced me to leave the stage, I moved on to painting and became more passionate about photography.
I have had my fair share of struggles throughout life. Growing up in Eastern Europe wasn't easy, especially when it came to finding opportunities for self-expression. My family has always been supportive of me pursuing my dreams, but we've faced many obstacles along the way. I moved to Western Europe hoping to find better conditions and more freedom to live as I please.
Nowadays, I try to stay focused on my photography career while exploring new places and learning about other cultures. People often ask me how it feels to be an artist with a strong background in ballet – for me, they are not two separate things; dance is still part of who I am today. I find inspiration everywhere: nature, architecture, or even the intricate patterns found in human behavior.
