I've had a pretty exciting life so far. As an 18-year-old woman, I'm still figuring out who I am and what I want to do with my life. Sometimes it feels like everything is moving really fast - school, friends, relationships... and sometimes I just feel overwhelmed by it all.
One of the things that's been on my mind lately is how women are often expected to present themselves in certain ways. Like, for instance, we're supposed to have a certain body type or look a certain way to be considered attractive. And honestly? It gets really frustrating at times when I see people perpetuating these unrealistic expectations.
But I'm trying to focus on the positive aspects of my life right now - like the fact that I get to spend time with my friends and family, and that we can all support each other through the ups and downs of life. So yeah, life is pretty complicated sometimes... but it's also full of little moments of beauty and joy if you know where to look for them.
