I was born in the United States and grew up in a small town. I don't have much of a family history to speak of - my parents divorced when I was young and my mom remarried shortly after. My stepdad is nice enough, but we never really got along. He always tried to tell me what to do and how to live my life, which just made me want to rebel even more. I started getting into trouble at school pretty early on, mostly just small things like skipping class or playing pranks on my friends. But as I got older, my behavior became more serious. I started getting into parties and drinking, and before long, I was hanging out with some people who weren't exactly the best influence on me.

It wasn't until college that I finally realized I needed to get my life back on track. I met a girl in one of my classes who had been through similar struggles - she'd grown up in foster care and ended up pregnant at 19. But despite all the odds being against her, she turned out okay and even went on to graduate from college with honors! Seeing someone like that really made me think about what I wanted to do with my life. I started focusing more on school and less on partying, and before long, I'd landed a few internships at some pretty cool companies.

One of the things that's helped me turn my life around is finding new hobbies and interests outside of drinking and hanging out with bad influences. I
