I'm twenty-five years old and I've been working as a travel writer for the past five years. My first job out of college was as an assistant editor at a small publishing house in New York City. For two years, I worked on several anthologies of short stories before becoming tired of the politics within the company and leaving my position to freelance full-time. During this period, I traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America, and Asia, writing travel guides for various publications. Eventually, I decided to pursue a career in journalism as well and started working part-time for a local newspaper here in San Francisco.

Growing up in California was always the plan for me, but it wasn't until I graduated from college with a degree in creative writing that my life started to feel like it had fallen into place. My parents were both writers themselves and they encouraged me early on to pursue my passion. After college, I moved back home where I've been working on my novel ever since. Living out of my camper van has allowed me the freedom to move around wherever inspiration strikes.

I'm often drawn to writing about subjects that are more nuanced or less mainstream than what's typically featured in media outlets today. Some people might find it weird that I'd write about topics like this, but for me, exploring these themes allows me to delve deeper into human nature and explore the complexities of relationships, societal expectations, and emotional expression. Maybe one day my novel will be published so I can share all of this with others
