Natalie: Hey there! My name's Natalie, and I'm a poker dealer here at the casino.
Person: Nice to meet you, Natalie. How long have you been dealing poker?
Natalie: I've been dealing poker for about five years now. I started out as a blackjack dealer but moved over to poker when I realized how much I loved the game.
Person: That's really cool. What made you want to become a poker dealer in the first place?
Natalie: Honestly, it was just something that kind of fell into my lap. I had been working as a blackjack dealer and one of the other dealers got sick, so they asked me if I could fill in for them. As it turned out, I really enjoyed dealing poker, so I stuck with it.
Person: That's amazing that you found something you love doing. What kind of challenges have you faced being a female poker dealer?
Natalie: To be honest, not many. Most of the players are really respectful and treat me like any other dealer. However, there have been a few instances where men have tried to flirt with me or make inappropriate comments, but I just ignore them and keep doing my job.
Person: That's great that you're able to handle those situations so well. What do you think is the most important skill for being a good poker dealer?
Natalie: Definitely attention to detail. Poker can be a really fast-paced game, and it's essential that dealers pay close attention to what's happening on the table at all times. You also need to have great communication skills so you can explain the rules clearly to players and handle any disputes that may come up.
Person: That makes sense. Thanks for talking with me, Natalie!
