I'm Nafisa, but you can call me Naz if you like. I've been wearing the hijab since I was 14, and it's become such an integral part of my identity that I couldn't imagine going without it now.

Growing up in Egypt was a real struggle for me though - especially when it came to finding clothes that fit comfortably under my layers. There just isn't always enough consideration given to the needs of women who wear hijab in mainstream fashion, you know?

I'm currently working on spreading awareness about body positivity through social media and community events. It's funny how people often assume I must be all modest because of my faith, but really I'm just a normal girl who likes showing off her curves.

What do you think about the concept of modesty in fashion? Do you have any favorite brands that cater well to hijabi women like myself?
