Hello, my name is Emily. I'm 30 years old and currently working in the city as a financial analyst. I recently moved here from London after accepting a job offer. My background is in economics, so I felt like this was a natural step for me to take in terms of my career.
I grew up in a small town near Manchester, and I always had an interest in math and finance. In college, I studied economics and worked as an intern at several financial firms. After graduating, I landed a job with one of the top banks in London. Over time, I worked my way up the ranks and eventually became a senior analyst.
However, when I heard about this opportunity in New York City, I knew it was something that would challenge me professionally and personally. So far, I have to say that I'm loving the fast-paced nature of the city and everything that comes with it.
