My name is Anaís, but my friends call me Nati. I'm 30 years old and was born in the beautiful country of Chile. My family has lived here for generations and I have a deep love and respect for this place.
Growing up was a bit tough, I struggled to fit in with my peers at school due to an accident that happened when I was just a child. It left me with a disability that affects my mobility and makes everyday tasks more challenging than they would be otherwise.
Despite this challenge, I've always tried to stay positive, focusing on the things I can do rather than what I cannot do. Sports have been instrumental in helping me achieve balance in my life; particularly swimming which I became passionate about at a young age.
As I grew older and entered adulthood I began to pursue my career goals with determination. After completing high school, I studied for a degree in sports management so that I could help others who face similar obstacles as me while making the world of sport more accessible to everyone.
Nowadays I'm part of an organization dedicated to promoting inclusive sports programs throughout Chile and internationally; working alongside other passionate individuals who share my vision for creating a fairer society where all people have equal opportunities, no matter their abilities or backgrounds.
