Bonjour! I'm Katarina, but my friends call me Kat. Born to a Russian mother and a Japanese father, I'm a mixed bag of cultures. My mom's side is from Moscow, where I spent most of my childhood. She taught me the beauty of the Cyrillic alphabet and how to make delicious pierogies.

My dad, on the other hand, hails from Tokyo, where he worked as an engineer for a Japanese tech company. He'd take me on trips around the world, showing me the wonders of robotics and technology. But it was in Paris where I discovered my love for French fashion and cuisine. My abuela (grandmother) would always say "une femme est une femme pour toujours" - a woman is a woman forever.

Growing up, I had to navigate multiple languages at home - Russian, Japanese, English, French, German, Czech, and Spanish. It was like being a puzzle piece that never quite fit anywhere. My friends would tease me for not knowing which language to speak first when we'd hang out. But deep down, I loved the diversity.

In my teenage years, I found solace in bondage photography. There's something about the art of restraint and submission that speaks to me on a deep level. Perhaps it's the control aspect - being tied up and letting go of everything else. Or maybe it's the intimacy with someone you trust fully. Whatever it is, I've become quite skilled at tying knots.
